Former super model, talk show host, author and reality star Tyra Banks enraptured herself in attention while posing for photos at the TIME 100 Gala celebrating TIME’S 100 Most Influential People In The World at Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Banks sashayed down the red carpet in an eye catching, avant garde fuchsia floor length gown, catching the attention of other party goers, photographers and fans. However, Banks wasn’t the only stunner at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.
Additionally Barbara Walters, Claire Daines & Tilda Swinton were also in attendance, while Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, gave the keynote address to attendees and honorees, congratulating them on their achievements.
In a stunning red lace and sheer gown that showed off her remarkable figure Halle Berry attended the 13th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards in LA where she was honored with the Lacoste Spotlight Award…
…the accolade was presented to her by Samuel L. Jackson, who said her name was ‘like a stanza of music’, in recognition of her professional excellence and appreciation of the importance of costume design.
And while the stars of the evening were busy showing off their fashions the films Black Swan, Alice In Wonderland and The King’s Speech won top prizes for Excellence In Contemporary Film, Excellence In Period Film and Best Fantasy Film respectively.
The red carpet shone with a dazzling array of stars last night at the Emmy Awards but those glowing the most had to of been newly weds Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer……could they possibly look any happier?
Amongst the winners of the evening were; Al Pacino for his role in You Don’t Know Jack. Mad Men picked up Outstanding Drama Series and Modern Family won the nod for Comedy. Edie Falco received an Emmy for lead actress in a comedy and Kyra Sedgwick picked up Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series.
Talking of drama…. how about that dramatic Kelly O dress! Wow Kelly, you look amazing!
Claire Danes was a bright addition to Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Station today as she got down to business painting during the launch of Valspar’s new Hi-Def Advanced Color System.
With a silky grey sequin top and her blonde locks shining Claire was almost as glossy as the new coat of blue she painted the walls.
This September Claire will be celebrating her first wedding anniversary with hubby actor Hugh Dancy. Maybe the couple who share an apartment in New York City will get a new coat of paint care of Ms. Danes.
Zac Posen had a fashion show the other day, and the celebs came out en masse. Of course, by celebs, I mean Claire Danes and Juliette Lewis. After seeing so many pictures of Juliette looking like this (you might want to think twice about clicking that link), it’s kind of surprising to see that she cleans up so nicely. Let us not forget, she had Brad Pitt before Jennifer Aniston or Angelina Jolie!
As for Claire Danes, she has been and will always be my favorite homewrecker. She seriously looks flawless in these shots. Makeup, hair, outfit…perfection!
