It was a night for Kings, ballerinas and girls with dragon tattoos at last night’s 2011 Orange British Academy Film Awards.
With stunning dresses on the red carpet at The Royal Opera House in Covent Garden and much deserved honors being handed out inside, including Colin Firth winning Best Actor for a second time in a row for “The King’s Speech” following last year’s “A Single Man” accolade, there was much to celebrate.

…while Natalie Portman, Colin Firth, Christian Bale and Annette Bening picked up globes for their outstanding performances, the stars whooped it up at The Weinstein Company and Relativity Media’s 2011 Golden Globe After Party.
At the bash beauties including Kelly Brook, Milla Jovovich and Olivia Wilde showed off their curves in glamorous gowns the always wildly styled Helena Bonham Carter wore an over the top piece by Vivienne Westwood and walked around in mismatched heels.
Hope they all had fun!

Emma Watson looked absolutely bewitching last night on the red carpet for the London premiere of Harry Potter And The Dealthy Hallows.
Co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint joined a throng of other cast-mates and celebrities at the A-list affair.

Geoffrey Rush, Helena Bonham Carter and Colin Firth came out for the UK premiere of Tom Hooper’s “The King’s Speech”, a historical drama about King George VI.
I still can’t think of Colin Firth as anything but the lovely Mr Darcy, however with this troupe of actors, how can this film be anything but fantastic?
Helena sported her usual unique style and a pair of trendy thick-rimmed glasses.
Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Tim Burton, Alan Rickman, musician Mark Ronson and Timothy Spall were among the celebrities on the red carpet at the European premiere of Sweeney Todd. Bonham Carter, Rickman and Spall have also starred in the Harry Potter film series.
Sweeney Todd is based on the hit Broadway musical which tells the infamous story of Benjamin Barker, a.k.a Sweeney Todd (Depp), who sets up a barber shop down in London which is the basis for a sinister partnership with his fellow tenant, Mrs. Lovett (Bonham Carter).
A very pregnant Helena Bonham Carter hit the town in London with husband Tim Burton. The couple will no doubt be quite busy over the coming months as their second child is reportedly due on December 7 and Burton’s new film Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street starring Johnny Depp is due in US theaters in December and UK theaters in January.
