Jennifer Aniston Makes “The Switch”

The ever effervescent Jennifer Aniston was all smiles and waves as she made her way down the red carpet at the LA premiere of Miramax Films’ new comedy “The Switch” held at Hollywood’s Arclight Theatre.

Clad in a flattering tan top and black mini Jennifer, who seems to reign over romantic comedies, was joined at the premiere by co-stars Jason Bateman and a blue-haired, bow-adorned Juliette Lewis.

“The Switch” hits theaters on August 20.  Visit the official website theswitch-movie.com to access the film’s trailer, picture gallery and soundtrack.

Snaps from the Couple’s Retreat Premiere

[Not a valid template]

Last night was the big L.A. premiere of Couple’s Retreat, starring Vince Vaughn and Jason Batemen, two of my favorite Hollywood guys. I have absolutely no idea what the movie is about, and I’ve seen the commercial for it no fewer than 5,000 times.

Do Vince and Jason go there together, by some weird twist of comedic fate? Do they accidentally fall in love? Because all of the scenes that I’ve seen are about the two of them doing gay yoga moves (funny?), swimming in shark-infested waters (hilarious?) and taking their clothes off (zany?). I’m not sure where the girls in the movie fit in, other than as background scenery.

Up in the Air at the TIFF

Last night was the premiere of Up in the Air at the Toronto International Film Festival, and some of my favorite people were there. Amanda Seyfried made her way back to the red carpet, as did Dana Delaney, Melanie Lynskey, Anna Kendrick, Jason Bateman (LOVE HIM!) and George Clooney. George’s hand was still all wrapped up from the accident he had a week or so ago, but he still looked really good.

I’ve decided that George Clooney is officially no longer hot — he’s moved on to the handsome phase. It’s not better or worse than the hot phase, just a little older. Kind of like Robert Redford in the early 90s.

Natalie Portman, Dustin Hoffman, Jason Bateman and Abigail and Spencer Breslin attended the premiere of Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium last night in New York City.

In the film, Molly Mahoney (Portman) is the awkward and insecure manager of Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium, the strangest, most fantastic, most wonderful toy store in the world. But when Mr. Magorium, the 243 year-old eccentric who owns the store (Hoffman), bequeaths the store to her, a dark and ominous change begins to take over.

The film is due in US theaters on November 16, 2007.
