Natalie Imbruglia’s Glorious Return

After being out of the limelight for a while, Natalie Imbruglia is back with her new single “Glorious,” in stores on August 27. The Aussie singer will follow the single with a greatest hits album entitled Glorious: The Singles 1997-2007 on September 10.

Imbruglia, seen here with husband Daniel Johns in London’s Covent Garden, insists the album is just a taste of some new material set to be released in the New Year, saying recently: “I have been busy in the past 12 months, writing and recording songs for my fourth album. But, as that record was coming together, I did start reflecting on the past 10 years, and all the fond memories of that time. So the idea of Glorious does make sense.” She also added: “I’ve always done my best to prove that I am worthy of my place in music. People can say whatever they want, but I think I’ve put some good songs out there. I’m not one of pop’s all-time greats. I haven’t chalked up any feats of musical genius. But I’ve been pretty consistent.”

Natalie Imbruglia is selling her massive Sunset Strip home. It was so big our snapper had trouble fitting it all into one picture! The house is currently for sale for $4.5m. It is 5,434 square feet and has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The mansion has city light views and is described as perfect for entertaining. It has a gourmet kitchen, several entertaining patios, a screening room, 2 guest rooms and an “extraordinary Zen-like master bedroom” with a spa quality bathroom. In addition there are 2 guest suites with private entrances and 3 garages. Not bad, I’ll take two please.
