Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Renner & Scarlett Johansson At The European Premiere Of Marvel’s The Avengers

Avengers unite, which is exactly what actors Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson & Robert Downey Jr. did at the European premiere of Marvel Avengers Assemble held at Vue Westfield in London.

Johansson, who portrays The Black Widow in both the Iron Man films and The Avengers showed off her leading lady style in a stunning a black and red brocade floral corset explained why she loved the character so much saying it’s a nice chance of pace, “to actually play someone who’s got a lot of conviction and who is really ready to kick some booty.”

Both Robert Downey Jr. and Jeremy Renner posed for photos sharply dressed.  Renner plays Agent Hawkeye a meticulous archer and Downey continues onto his stride as notorious playboy Tony Stark aka. Iron Man in the Avengers film.

Marvel Avengers Assemble is being released in U.K. theaters on April 26 and in the U.S. as The Avengers on May 4.

Robert Downey Jr. & Wife Show Off Growing Baby Bump At Sherlock Holmes: Game Of Shadows Premiere

Robert Downey Jr. has a lot to be thankful for this holiday season, including the premiere of a new blockbuster film and a new baby on the way.

While attending the premiere of his new film Sherlock Holmes: Game Of Shadows at the Village Theater in Los Angeles, the actor showed off his wife, Susan’s growing baby bump while posing for photos on the red carpet.  The two are purportedly having a baby boy next spring.

Additionally, costar Rachel McAdams was also on hand for the premiere wowing fans with a silver Marchesa evening gown that almost managed to steal the spotlight from Downey’s baby bump, no east feat indeed!

The film’s director Guy Richie also posed for photos with girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley, who stunned in a sexy red evening gown.

The Hangover Part II Premiere

Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha and Mike Tyson are all reunited at “The Hangover Part II” red carpet premiere in Los Angeles. Crystal the monkey was another big hit at the premiere joining the stars and posing for pictures.

The second installment of the Warner Bros., film takes place after the bachelor party in Las Vegas when Phil, Stu, Alan and Doug head to Thailand for Stu’s wedding, which of course goes terribly awry.

Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan made a surprise visit to the red carpet to support Downey’s “Due Date” co-star Galifianakis.

Coachella Music and Arts Festival Day One

The annual three-day Coachella Music and Arts Festival got underway yesterday to a great start…with festival-goers, including the usual well-dressed celebrites, enjoying annual music festival as they meandered around the Empire Polo Fields.

Hippiefied Vanessa Hudgens, pigtailed Whitney Port, laughing Usher, coconut-cocktail drinking Penn Badgley and casual Robert Downey Jr. were just some of the music lovers out for the weekend festival.

The sold out evening’s line up included performances by Cee Lo Green, Kings of Leon, The Chemical Brothers and Lauryn Hill.

UFC Best Mates: Downey Jr. Law Ritchie

The Sherlock Holmes boys are at it again!  Director Guy Ritchie and his best mates Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law buddied it up last night at the UFC 120 Fight Night held at the O2 Arena in London.

The trio looked like they were having a riot sitting up close and packed in for the fight which saw the United States’ Carlos Condit defeat Brit Dan Hardy.

Wonder if the boys got any inspiration for a fight scene for their Sherlock Holmes sequel which is currently in production…?

The Buffalo Club Was Hopping Last Night!

I’ve never heard of The Buffalo Club before (which makes sense, considering I live in Pittsburgh and it’s in L.A.), but apparently it’s quite the celebrity hot spot. Last night, the club held a pre-Critic’s Choice party, and all kinds of famous people showed up: Robert Downey Jr., Colin Farrell, Tommy Lee Jones, Dwayne Johnson, Christian Slater, Julianne Moore, Jason Statham, Hilary Swank and Cuba Gooding, Jr.

That’s quite the impressive guest list!

Pics from the Sherlock Holmes Premiere!

Well, the day we’ve all been waiting for is finally here: the big UK premiere of Sherlock Holmes finally happened at the Empire Cinema at Leicester Square in London. Jude Law, Robert Downey Jr., Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale, Guy Ritchie, Heather Graham and Rachel McAdams were all there for the event, and everyone was dressed to impress.

Heather Graham looked particularly stunning — she’s another famous celeb who hasn’t aged much over the last decade. It’s hard to believe she played Roller Girl so long ago!

Robert Downey, Jr. and his Wife in West Hollywood

Robert Downey, Jr. is one of my favorite actors of all times (shout out to Less Than Zero), so I always get pretty psyched whenever I get a chance to blog about him. Last night, RDJ and his wife, Susan Levin, took a stroll in West Hollywood and stopped for some late night coffee.

How adorable are these two? They were holding hands and laughing — the perfect picture of a happy couple.

Robert Downey Jr. at Comic Con

Robert Downey Jr. promoted the new Iron Man movie with Scarlett Johansson yesterday at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con convention, and I couldn’t be happier to have these pics in. RDJ is one of my favorite people on earth! He totally reminds me of an old boss that I had when I worked in advertising…THAT guy knew how to party!

Plus, he always looks like he’s having a great time. I mean, how could you NOT have fun while wearing an outfit like that?!

Today is Robert Downey, Jr.’s 44th birthday is today! So, you know, mad props and a birthday shout out to him (and his sweet lightning bolt tee shirt).  Yesterday, our cameras caught up with RDJ as he was leaving the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, putting flowers in the trunk and flashing peace sign before getting in his car. Iron Man co-star Terrance Howard left the hotel very shortly afterwards.

Wonder if they met up for business or pleasure?

Robert Downey, Jr. was filming scenes for the upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie today, and our cameras were the only ones there to bring back photos.

Robby (can I call you that?) looks a little disheveled, but there’s no denying his hotness. I love that guy, and can’t wait to see his movie when it comes out in November.

Tropic Thunder Premiere Snaps and Gossip

The premiere for Tropic Thunder was last night, which means that I got around 5 gajillion pictures of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes (Kate Cruise? Katie Cruise? Katie Holmes-Cruise? Somebody help me out here). She must be wearing uber high heels or Tom must be shrinking, because she’s towering over him in these shots.

Lots of other celebs came out for the evening, including Robert Downey, Jr. and his molestache, Jack Black, Ben Stiller and Matthew McConaughey, sans baby Levi. Lots of people are throwing a fit and boycotting the movie, particularly groups for the disabled. Ben Stiller had this to say in response:

“It’s sort of edgy territory, but we felt that as long as the focus was on the actors who were trying to do something to be taken seriously that’s going too far or wrong, that was where the humor would come from,” Stiller said. “[The joke is on] actors reaching for roles in terms of hopefully winning awards.”

“Some people have taken this as making fun of handicapped people, but we’re really trying to make fun of the actors who use this material as fodder for acclaim,” co-writer Etan Cohen reiterated to MTV. “The last thing you want is for people to think you’re making fun of the victims in this who are having their lives turned into fodder for people to win Oscar.”
