Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick brought their son James Wilkie along with them to the press night for ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ at Theatre Royal in London. Uma Thurman also walked the red carpet at the event.
Fashion designer Valentino was also on hand and was honored for his role in creating the elegant costumes for the shows.
Parker sported a black coat dress with a tweed skirt that she paired with embellished pantyhose and Manolo Blahnik pumps.
The dress came from Antonio Berardi’s Spring 2012 collection, she’s the third celebrity this week who’s worn a look from this collection while posing for photos on the red carpet.
The New York City Centre Grand Reopening came after a historic renovation of the centre by Ennead Architects, LLP who transformed the building by adding modern conveniences.
The NYC premiere of I Don’t Know How She Does It was held last night at the Loews Lincoln Square, and I don’t know how Sarah Jessica Parker does it. She’s looked the same since her dancin’ days in Footloose, and I think she could teach some Hollywood ladies a thing or two about aging gracefully. And don’t even get me started on Matthew Broderick. Adorable.
Pierce Brosnan, Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle were also there for the shindig.
While taking a break from bringing a little yellow-sweatered cheer to her photoshoot at a London hotel, Sarah Jessica Parker noticed that a man had collapsed outside. Her security staff (along with the hotel’s) quickly rushed to help the guy. She ran back inside to avoid photographers, but at least she sent her team to check it out. Caring for others, Hollywood style!
Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kylie Minogue attend the UK premiere of “Sex and the City 2”.
SJP… I am loving that dress!
Sarah Jessica Parker, the reigning queen of New York City, hit up the launch party of Bravo’s new art reality TV series, Work of Art: The Next Great Artist. The show is being produced by her production company, Pretty Matches, at the Paley Center.
The hour-long program will see 14 artists compete for the top prize of a solo gallery showing at a yet-to-be-determined museum. Sounds like a cool idea for a show, right?
Did You Hear About the Morgans is the new movie starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant, and last night the two attended the premiere at the Ziegfeld Theatre in NYC. The movie looks really good, and I’m pretty psyched to see it. Of course, I’m always down for anything with Hugh Grant in it!
No, it’s not a question that I’m asking you — it’s the name of Sarah Jessica Parker’s new movie. The big premiere of Did You Hear About the Morgans was held today at the Odeon Leicester Square in London.
Is it just me, or do Hugh Grant and SJP look really cute together? I love Matthew Broderick, but if things don’t work out between the two of them, SJP should definitely seek refuge in Hugh’s arms. I can see why they were cast together in this movie!
The ladies of Sex and the City 2 must be having flashbacks, because recently they’ve been seen all dressed up in 80s garb. Yesterday, it was Sarah Jessica Parker’s turn. FYI, this is what SJP actually looked like in the 80s. Don’t ask me why they made her look like a middle aged woman dressed up as a slutty Madonna for Halloween, because your guess is as good as mine.
And what’s with the dark eye makeup? It looks like she has two black holes for eyes. I’m sort of worried she’s going to steal my soul if I look at the picture for more than a second or two at a time. Maybe they’ll CGI in some sexiness in post production?
I suppose it doesn’t really matter, because I’m already getting an overload of hotness from that guy in the background wearing the GUESS shirt and visor. There’s nothing to GUESS about it: I’m head over heels in love with that dude. Those white L.A. Gear high tops and short shorts pushed me over the edge. How do you spell hotness? T-H-A-T G-U-Y.
As you probably know, production has started for Sex and the City 2. Earlier today, Cynthia Nixon (my personal fav) and Sarah Jessica Parker shot some scenes for the movie. I’m super psyched for this movie to come out, and I have absolutely no shame in admitting it. From what I’ve seen so far, the outfits are 10 times better than in the original SATC movie (well, except for those high-waisted jeans SJP is rocking. Is that a camel toe I’m looking at?!).
As long as Mr. Big is in the picture, I’m so there.
Is it just me, or is Matthew Broderick giving Sarah Jessica Parker some sort of evil death stare in the main picture? It looks like he’s straight up trying to burn holes in the back of her head! Of course, today is my birthday and I kick started my morning with a giant glass o’ mimosa, so maybe it’s just the booze talking. Anyway!
The happy couple went to the opening night of Mary Stuart at the Broadhurst Theatre in NYC yesterday. Christine Baranski and Kevin Spacey (who makes me swoon) were also there.
If you’re in NYC, you might want to keep an eye out for Sarah Jessica Parker — she’s filming scenes for her new movie, Did You Hear About the Morgans? Apparently, I haven’t heard about the Morgans, because I have no idea what this movie is about or whether I’m interested in seeing it.
I do know, however, that my favorite British rom-com guy is costarring: Hugh Grant!
The women from Sex and the City were out in full force last night for the DVD release party at the New York public library. I’ve never heard of shindigs like this taking place in a library, but whatever. At this point in time, however, I would like to draw your attention to Kim Cattrall. I know that her outfit probably costs more than my car, but I swear I saw something totally similar in a Tulsa, Oklahoma Wal Mart last year around Christmas time. Those Wal Mart shoppers love a little glitz and glamor around the holidays!
Sarah Jessica Parker, on the other hand, absolutely killed it! The hair was fabulous, the makeup was flawless and her dress was nearly perfect (what’s up with that pattern on the front? I thought at first it was a smoke trail from a cigarette, but I’m pretty sure that’s on the dress).
The Sex and the City premiere brought everyone and their mother out in NYC tonight. From Ashley Olsen (Stacie, this one is for you…I got the right twin this time!) to Lydia Hearst, all were in attendance.
I have to say, the best dressed out of everyone in these pictures is SJP, hands down (although her husband certainly gives her a run for her money. I’ve always had a soft spot for Ferris Bueller). I love Lydia’s top, but it’d be best as a dress. I don’t know what kind of masochist Kim Cattrall is, but I figure she’s got to be one to have worn that getup for more than five minutes.
While it’s nice to see Ashley smile (she’s absolutely gorgeous), that jacket reminds me of one that my mom used to wear in 1987. You know, the type of jacket with shoulder pads that at the time screamed “I’M A CAREER WOMAN! EQUAL PAY FOR EQUAL WORK!”
But, that’s just my opinion. What do you guys think? Leave your thoughts in the comments section, and I’ll discuss what ya’ll are saying in a blog later today.
Here’s Sarah Jessica Parker outside of David Letterman’s studio before going onto the show to promote the new Sex and the City movie. I don’t know where her arms are and no, I don’t know why she’s dressed like Morticia Addams.
Other than that, she’s looking pretty hot here. I’ve actually always had a thing for SJP, and I don’t care what all of the other bloggers say. She doesn’t look like a horse.
Anybody who has ever seen Footloose absolutely has to love her. Remember the scene where she’s in a bar and kind of dressed like a cowgirl? That movie is nothing short of awesome, thanks to SJP and Kevin Bacon dancing around to Kenny Loggins all 80s style.
