Fergie Turns Rock Chick

[Not a valid template]

It may have been rock n roll royal Slash who was getting honored at this year’s Sunset Strip Music Festival…. but it was Fergie who walked away with the rock chick prize.

Wow!!! Fergie looked super-hot in tiny denim..nearly not there… hot-pants, PVC bustier and fishnets.

The annual music fest had a block-buster line up including Smashing Pumpkins, Steel Panther, Travie McCoy and Semi Precious Weapons…. but sorry ladies, though the lads would want to see as many pics as possible of Miss Fergielicious!

The Mirage’s Big Birthday Bash

[Not a valid template]

The Mirage in Las Vegas had it’s 20th anniversary last night, and some of the biggest players in the game were there to help celebrate. Rock icon Slash enlisted friends including Courtney Love, Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and former Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, among others to join him on stage at the Bare Pool Lounge for the party.

I can’t believe Courtney Love was coherent enough to actually show up and get her performance on! There have been all kinds of rumors about her recently. Apparently, she’s totally broke and tried to tap into Frances Bean’s trust fund (she was Denied with a capital D on that little endeavor).

Not only did Courtney show up, she showed up looking better than I’ve seen her in months. Plus, she apparently had a really great show. Wonder if she’s gearing up to make a big comeback?

Rocker Slash and rapper Eve headed out to the nightclub Goa last night in West Hollywood. Slash opted for a baseball hat last night over his trademark top hat.

Slash certainly deserves to party a little. He’s been extremely busy lately with the launch of his best-selling memoirs “Slash” and the new video game “Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.”

“Slash” Memoir Book Signing

Velvet Revolver and former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash attends a book signing for his newly published memoir “Slash.”

The book, from one of the greatest rock guitarists of our era, redefines sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll! It is reported to be everything the man, the myth, the legend, inspires: it’s funny, honest, inspiring, jaw-dropping . . . and, in a word, excessive.

Nicole Richie’s hubby and soon-to-be dad Joel Madden of Good Charlotte, Slash, Emily Procter, Eric Belfour and ’80s rock band Poison’s Bobby Dall, Bret Michaels, C.C. Deville and Rikki Rockett were among those who attended the MGuitar Hero 3 launch party at a Best Buy store in Los Angeles, yesterday.

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is a music video game and the third full installment in the Guitar Hero series (the fourth title overall) and is available for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii consoles, as well as for PC and Mac computers. Players use a guitar-shaped controller to simulate the playing of rock music by playing notes as they scroll in-time with the music.

The game includes Slash (of Guns N’ Roses/Velvet Revolver), Tom Morello (of Rage Against the Machine/Audioslave), and Bret Michaels (Poison) as in-game characters.

The Scream Awards, which celebrate people getting the crap scared out of them, are appropriately scheduled to air just before Halloween on October 23. Check your local listings.

Supergroup Velvet Revolver rocked the Sound Advice Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida last night. The crowds went wild as the boys Slash, Scott Weiland, Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum and Dave Kushner played VR tunes such as “She Mine,” “Sucker Train Blues” and “Slither.” Weiland also paid homage to Stone Temple Pilots with a shirtless version of “Interstate Love Song” followed by a perfectly whistled “Patience” from the Guns N’ Roses songbook of Slash and Duff McKagan.
