Paul McCartney & Nancy Shevell Attend Stella McCartney’s Christmas Light Ceremony

Former Beatle Paul McCartney was on hand with his new bride Nancy Shevell to lend support to daughter Stella as she kicked off the holiday season by turning on the Christmas lights in her Bruton Street Boutique.

The trio posed for photos, all looking cheery and ready for the impending winter weather before the newlyweds stood alone, embracing and looking very much in love.

Stella dressed all in black, wearing a silk top with a black knee-high pants, black tights and black heels.  Shevell wore a black coat over a tweed skirt with flats, keeping things comfortable.

It’s always a joy to see the whole family together, enjoying each other’s company and supporting each other in their business ventures.

Sir Paul McCartney & Heiress Nancy Shevell Say I Do In London

Sir Paul McCartney is a newlywed for the first time, tying the knot with heiress Nancy Shevell in front of 30 friends and family.

They posted for photos outside Marylebone Registry Office in London after their saying their I dos.

Nancy wore a simple yet flattering white dress designed by Paul’s fashion designer daughter, Stella McCartney.

It seems Nancy understands the importance of family, allowing Stella to design her dress when, as an heiress in her own right, she could have had anyone in the world make her a gown for her big day.

The two look simply elated to finally have tied the knot, waving and blowing kisses to friends, family and fans.

Paul McCartney And Fiance Nancy Shevell Display Engagement Ring Bling At The New York City Ballet Fall Gala

Rock n’ Roll legend Paul McCartney was accompanied by his fiancee heiress Nancy Shevell to the opening night of “Ocean’s Kingdom” the ballet he scored music for.

The ballet kicked off 2011 New York City Ballet Fall Gala held at the David Koch Theatre at Lincoln Center where buzz around Shevell’s dazzling engagement ring compared to that of the ballet itself.

McCartney worked closely with ballet master-in-chief Peter Martins to not only write the music, but help in the choreography of the story itself, a love story set in an under-the-sea kingdom.

On his website McCartney explained the challenges in music for a cohesive piece that tells a story saying”… so you have fear, love, anger, sadness to play with and I found that exciting and challenging.”

Regardless of critics, we’re sure “Ocean’s Kingdom” will draw a huge crowd, if for no other reason, to see more of McCartney’s brilliance on display.

Beatles Love Continues

Paul McCartney,  Nancy Shevell, Yoko Ono and Sean Lennon and Dhani and Olivia Harrison were amongst those who were at the fifth anniversary celebration of The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas.

The long-running show celebrates the musical legacy that The Beatles have left behind and even includes music (with a bit of magic thrown in of course) from the original masters made at Abbey Road recording studios way back when in London.

No wonder the show is still a hit 5 year on.
