Another successful Cannes Film Festival wraps up with the 66th Annual Closing Awards Gala in Cannes, France.
In attendance was Uma Thurman wearing a floor length silver strapless gown with beautiful jewelry.
Looking handsome as always, Orlando Bloom wore a sharp tuxedo with a white bow tie.
Cannes jury member Nicole Kidman looked gorgeous in a white patterned strapless dress.
Audrey Tautou looked amazing in a red flowing dress with pink accents.
Winner for Best Actress Berenice Bejo wore a beautiful sequenced teal dress as she proudly posed with her award.
The stars came out to support filmmakers Clint Eastwood and John Baldessari at Los Angeles County Museum Of Art’s Art & Film Gala, which honored the two craftsmen.
Kill Bill star Uma Thurman was a majestical goddess, keeping things simple with a billowing black & white evening gown, but matched it with elegant black flats, giving the overall look a slightly undone and fun feel.
Movie star Emily Blunt took her best accessory, husband John Krasinski of “The Office,” which only accentuated her choice of a simple black cocktail dress with ornate beading.
When matched with her flawless porcelain skin, and deep chocolate brown hair, Blunt’s famous features pop even more so.
Additionally, Kate Bosworth, Zoe Saldana, Amy Adams, Kate Beckinsale, Reese Witherspoon, Evan Rachel Wood and Julie Bowen showed their support at the Art & Film Gala, each sparkling in their own way.

Chicago has a film festival (you learn something new every day!), and last night Uma Thurman was there for the premiere of her new movie, Motherhood. I love the outfit she’s wearing, too. It’s like an 80s power suit, minus the shoulder pads and cheesy tie/scarf thing (don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking about).
She looks really happy to be there, too…somebody should pass these pictures to Mo’nique and show her how the movie promotion game really works. Uma’s a total pro.
Breast cancer touches people from all different races and backgrounds, so it wasn’t surprising to see a huge assortment of famous people at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure through Central Park over the weekend. This is the only type of event that I could imagine bringing together people like Uma Thurman, Joe Lieberman, Cyndi Lauper (!!!), Judge Judy, Gabrielle Union and Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
The annual event raises funds to support local programs offering breast health education, screening and treatment in the five boroughs of New York City, on Long Island and in Westchester and Rockland Counties. Congrats to all who participated! To donate to the Susan G. Komen foundation, click here.

Uma Thurman attended the 3rd Annual Smart Cookie Awards yesterday, where she was honored as an “amazing charitable mother” along with Salma Hayek, Debra Messing and four other women.
Uma Thurman is one of those actresses that you never hear a bad word about…only stuff like this gets out. It’s a refreshing change from the norm, isn’t it?
Congrats and keep up the good work, Uma!

Minnie Driver wasn’t the only person who was busy in Park City, Utah yesterday. Uma Thurman was all over the place, smoking on Main Street (and trying to hide it), signing autographs for mobs of fans and even hitting a VIP tent or two.
Uma Thurman is starring in another movie I won’t see, entitled Motherhood. I don’t have anything against her as a person (I mean, she did divorce Ethan Hawke, which totally freed him up for the rest of us), but she just doesn’t do it for me.
Remember when she was in The Truth About Cats and Dogs with Janeane Garofalo? I always thought that Janeane was the hot one, not Uma.
