Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Bradley Cooper, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, and Jessica Chastain were among the stars on the red carpet tonight at the 2013 National Board Of Review Awards Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York. While everyone on the carpet was stylish and formal, Hathaway looked particularly cute in a black jacket and slacks and Chastian was stunningly elegant in a long black gown with gold trim.
It’s reported that John Krasinski and Emily Blunt have purchased a home in Ojai for $2.15 million. According to the reports, the home was once the site of the Ojai Foothills Hotel and sits on more than five acres. The house is 4,177 square feet and includes 4 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. Other features include solar power, a swimming pool with spa and three-car garage along with four fireplaces. Photos courtesy of realtor.com.
The stars came out to support filmmakers Clint Eastwood and John Baldessari at Los Angeles County Museum Of Art’s Art & Film Gala, which honored the two craftsmen.
Kill Bill star Uma Thurman was a majestical goddess, keeping things simple with a billowing black & white evening gown, but matched it with elegant black flats, giving the overall look a slightly undone and fun feel.
When matched with her flawless porcelain skin, and deep chocolate brown hair, Blunt’s famous features pop even more so.
Additionally, Kate Bosworth, Zoe Saldana, Amy Adams, Kate Beckinsale, Reese Witherspoon, Evan Rachel Wood and Julie Bowen showed their support at the Art & Film Gala, each sparkling in their own way.
A fun gnomey twist on the Shakespearean classic!
Walking the blue carpet at the premiere of the CGI animated film “Gnomeo & Juliet”, new daddies to son Zachary, Sir Elton John and David Furnish, who was a producer on the film, looked delighted in their special glittery and gnome-adorned 3-D glasses.
During a recent press conference Elton, who scored the film, was very forthcoming of the new chapter in his and David’s life saying among other things, ‘I love the smell of nappies’.
Also at the El Capitan Theatre for the premiere was the voice of Juliet, Emily Blunt who wore braids in her hair and an elegant white knee-length dress, and vest-clad James McAvoy, the voice of Gnomeo.
He sees small people…at least that’s what Jack Black’s shirt said at the rainy Los Angeles premiere of Gulliver’s Travels.
Well we’ll all get a chance to see small people, including Jason Segel and Emily Blunt’s characters in the 3D adventure fantasy movie when it hits cinemas next week!
At Grauman’s Chinese Theatre Emily was looking gorgeous in her blue and tan dress while co-star Jack was up to his goofy hijinks.
All joking aside though Jack has had some pretty clever things to say about his new movie, “We stay true to a lot of the elements of the original story and I think the spirit of the comedy. It’s a very funny book, but it’s got more politics…
…We didn’t delve too much into that. This is more about the fun adventure. It’s also an exploration of people’s need to be respected. It seems like everyone wants to be a big shot in this world we live in now. And there is so much insecurity about being a small potato.”
The red carpet shone with a dazzling array of stars last night at the Emmy Awards but those glowing the most had to of been newly weds Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer……could they possibly look any happier?
Amongst the winners of the evening were; Al Pacino for his role in You Don’t Know Jack. Mad Men picked up Outstanding Drama Series and Modern Family won the nod for Comedy. Edie Falco received an Emmy for lead actress in a comedy and Kyra Sedgwick picked up Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series.
Talking of drama…. how about that dramatic Kelly O dress! Wow Kelly, you look amazing!
Emily Blunt had lunch yesterday at the same West Hollywood hotspot that Rebecca Gayheart did, and she opted for a pretty dark outfit. I know that black is supposed to be a slimming color and everything, but does she look tiny or what? I just want to put her in my pocket or something.
In semi-related news, I WANT her friend’s grey boots — those might be my favorite pair I’ve seen all season.
