Fall Out Boy performed live in Rockefeller Plaza earlier this morning as part of the Today show. I don’t wake up that early, so I missed the show. That said, the band has recently become one of my guilty pleasures (don’t judge, you know they’re all up in your iPod too!).
Plus, there’s something about Pete Wentz’s flat-ironed-to-perfection hair that does it for me. He also has perfect teeth, which sounds totally random and creepy, but it’s something that I pay attention to (see also: the hairline).
It’s being reported that Fall Out Boy has had to move their April 21st show from Boca Raton’s Mizner Park due to “security concerns” and “known disturbances associated with one of the [tour’s] bands, Fall Out Boy.” The show, scheduled for will go on, but has been moved to the Pompano Beach Amphitheater.
The band’s management issued a statement in which manager Bob McLyn said that the town did offer a compromise, offering an extraordinary amount of money in extra costs, but the band decided to change venues instead. Boca Raton’s Assistant Police Chief Edgar Morley said that the city “had to be proactive, simply because it makes sense. You can’t say ‘Nothing’s gonna happen’ and then something happens.”
Actually, Eddie, that doesn’t make much sense at all. With that attitude, nothing would ever take place in the city of Boca Raton! No concerts, no fairs and NO BINGO NIGHTS! You never know what might happen at one of those shindigs. I hear the blue-haired old ladies can get rowdy if a false bingo is called.
Should I be the first to start a Boycott Boca group? It seems as though each person I meet/talk to/hear about from Boca Raton is more ridiculous than the next!
Fall Out Boy performed at the Pearl in the Palms Casino in Las Vegas last night, and these pictures look more like pictures from a magazine photo shoot than shots from a live concert. It’s like somebody handed them some instruments and told them to look like rockers.
Fall Out Boy were in the Halloween spirit last night as they performed at the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater and they delivered a wild night for all. Pretty boy Pete Wentz, Ashlee Simpson’s boyfriend and fan favorite, had to tone down his usual energetic onstage antics, though, after breaking his ankle at Sunday’s Voodoo Music Experience festival in New Orleans.
