The glitz and glamour could be found in every corner of the red carpet area as celebrities arrived for this year’s Oscars ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood tonight. The stars were out and shining bright as they arrived for one of the most anticipated Academy Awards ever.
Angelina Jolie looked as elegant as ever in an Elle Saab gown as she arrived with Brad Pitt. Nominee Sandra Bullock looked gorgeous in a navy Alexander McQueen gown. Olivia Wilde and Elsa Pataky showed off their baby bumps in beautifully designed gowns as they arrived with Chris Hemsworth and Jason Sudeikis, respectively. Other celebrities showing their glamour on the red carpet included Amy Adams, Kristen Bell, Jessica Biel, Cate Blanchett, Bono, Kristin Chenoweth, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Kate Hudson, Jared Leto, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, Meryl Streep, Channing Tatum with Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Kerry Washington and Naomi Watts.
Among the superstars in attendance at the 2014 British Academy Film Awards today in London were Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Oprah Winfrey, Christian Bale, Uma Thurman, Leonardo DiCaprio and Cate Blanchett. All looked glamorous as they walked the red carpet at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio attend the 25th Annual Producers Guild Awards which was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. Brad Pitt also posed with Director Steve McQueen and actor Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Last night Manhattan was abuzz as Leonardo DiCaprio, Isla Fisher, Jay-Z and Tobey Maguire joined other celebs in attending the world premiere of ‘The Great Gatsby’ at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall.
Want to live like Leonardo DiCaprio? Well here’s your chance, if you have $150,00 you can rent the star’s Malibu home for a month. Want to stay longer? Well then rent it for six months at $75,000 a month and you’ve got yourself a deal.
The ocean front pad has three separate buildings including a main house with 4 bedrooms, and a detached guest house with two bedrooms. There’s a gym for those of you that like to stay fit, a media room, a BBQ, private spa and of course magnificent views of the beach front the hard wood deck.
Excuse me, I just have to pop off to win the lottery so I can snap this one up myself.
Superstar actor Leonardo DiCaprio and the cast of Clint Eastwood’s new film J. Edgar came together to celebrate the world premiere of the film at the AFI Fest 2011 Opening Night Gala in Los Angeles at Grauman’s Chinese Theater.
DiCaprio sported a dapper black suit with a white dress shirt and silver tie, keeping the overall look sharp with a touch of old world Hollywood.
His costars Naomi Watts & Hilary Swank also channeled the glitz and glamour of classic Hollywood style. Watts wore an elegant silver evening gown that highlighted both her coloring and post-babies figure.
Swank on the other hand kept things simple with pretty beachy waves and a form fitting white evening gown that fused the easy going California girl look with upscale Hollywood style.
The AFI Fest Premiere kicks off the beginning of their very busy promotional tour for J. Edgar.
The special black and red carpets were rolled out this evening for the A-list stars of Warner Bros. Pictures’ sci-fi action thriller “Inception” as it had its Los Angeles screening at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, to benefit the nonprofit climate change organization, The Alliance for Climate Protection.
Dapper-looking actors Leonardo DiCaprio, Cillian Murphy and Joseph Gordon-Levitt showed off their style as they made their way inside and were only outdone by their beautiful co-stars Marion Cotillard in a tailored shimmering black cocktail dress and Ellen Page in a unique green mini.
With words such as ‘cornea-melting’, ‘ear-shattering’ and ‘brain-buster’ being used to describe director Christopher Nolan’s latest film, it seems summer audiences are in for a treat with “Inception”.
Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio was joined on the red carpet by his beautiful co-stars, Oscar-winning actress Marion Cotillard and Oscar-nominated actress Ellen Page, at the UK premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures’ new film “Inception”.
Set to be a visually stunning and thrilling journey through the mind, Christopher Nolan’s “Inception” can be seen in theaters and IMAX across the UK and North America from July 16.
The premiere was held at Odeon Leicester Square where the film’s stars delighted awaiting fans. Cillian Murphy and Sir Michael Caine who also star in the film attended the premiere, both of whom had prior roles in Nolan’s Batman films.
At this point in time, I have absolutely no idea what Oliver’s Arrow is about. In fact, I’m not even sure that it’s going to be called Oliver’s Arrow, because they might have changed the name to Inception. Regardless, I plan on being first in line to see the movie. Why? Two reasons:
Leonardo DiCaprio. Yeah, I’m still not over the crush I had on him when I was 14-years-old.
Ellen Page. HELL YES! She’s like a modern day version of Katherine Hepburn, and I dig it. Is she a lesbian? I don’t know! But she’s talented, edgy and adorable. Love her!
While the rest of us were getting drunk and watching football on TV all day, Leonardo DiCaprio spent his Saturday working on a new movie. It’s either titled Inception or Oliver’s Arrow, I guess they haven’t decided yet. I have a working theory that Leo is actually the long lost son of Jack Nicholson, because the two look a lot alike to me. I think it’s the eyebrows and scraggly goatee? Look at this picture, and tell me if I’m wrong. Where’s Maury when you need him?
Not that I’m complaining or anything. I had posters of Leo all over my bedroom walls in high school, and one of them even smuggled itself into my suitcase and made its way to my college dorm (it was crafty). It no longer graces my walls, but I do have The Departed on DVD — which he starred in with Jack Nicholson. Yeah, totally related.
Last night was the world premiere of Revolutionary Road, and just about everyone looked fantastic. I’ll spare you the obvious omission from that statement, and head straight on over to Kate’s dress. L-O-V-E–I-T! She’s also rocking some pretty amazing hair.
In fact, I love it almost as much as I do Leonardo DiCaprio. That tie really makes the outfit.
Yesterday was the UK premiere of Body of Lies, and holy hell did Leonardo DiCaprio bring his A-game to the event. I could stare at him for hours and never get bored. When you see him walking around town on a day to day basis, he usually looks vaguely homeless. Not here, though. He’s friggin’ H-O-T! Also, it was nice of him to invite his troll friend along.
I don’t know if Oliver Martinez was caught in bad light or what, but he’s seriously skeeving me out. His stubble is about two days past its due date.
