The Muppets are back and hitting theaters everywhere starting with a Hollywood premiere at the El Capitan Theatre in LA attended by a multitude of star including Sir ANthony Hopkins, Jason Segel and Amy Adams.
In the Walt Disney film, Kermit and the gang go into action to save the Muppet Theater from demolition and get a helping hand from many of the biggest celebrities in New York City.
It’s been a big week for the Muppets, in addition to the premiere of their movie they were campaigning on Twitter to be the host of the Oscars after Eddie Murphy dropped out.
Billy Crystal was eventually announced to replace Murphy, but that doesn’t mean that the Muppets won’t make a cameo.
I can’t wait to see this movie, I have loved the Muppets ever since I was a kid, Miss Piggy in particular especially when she says “I love you Kermie”. I guess she is not alone in that sentiment, seems the whole world loves Kermit.
The stars came out to support filmmakers Clint Eastwood and John Baldessari at Los Angeles County Museum Of Art’s Art & Film Gala, which honored the two craftsmen.
Kill Bill star Uma Thurman was a majestical goddess, keeping things simple with a billowing black & white evening gown, but matched it with elegant black flats, giving the overall look a slightly undone and fun feel.

Mark Wahlberg was looking mighty happy as he walked the red carpet with beautiful wife Rhea Durham at the premiere of his latest film The Fighter, which he both produced and stars in alongside the talented Christian Bale.
The biographical movie about the early years of boxer ‘Irish’ Micky Ward has been named by reviewers as a Martin Scorsese-esque film…not too shabby of a comparison!
Other stars to grace the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre premiere was the gorgeous Amy Adams, who looked graceful in a white cocktail dress and cherry-red satin heels, and a happily bearded Bale.
Wahlberg, who is producing some of the most interesting TV shows of late, including In Treatment, Boardwalk Empire and Entourage, has recently been connected with the new feature film adaptation of the futuristic crime short The Raven which he will reportedly produce and star in.
The Fighter hits cinemas on December 10th.
Amy Adams BROUGHT IT to the NYC premiere of Julie & Julia last night at the Ziegfield Theater. I didn’t think it was possible, but she looks even better than she did at the LA premiere!
And this time, everyone showed up to the event. Meryl Streep (of course), Barbara Walters, Rachel Ray, Katie Lee Joel and Jaslene Gonzales, among many others, all came to celebrate the movie.
The premiere of Julie & Julia was last night, and both Meryl Streep and Amy Adams brought their A-game to the red carpet. I’m so happy that Amy’s hair isn’t really all mullet-ey like it is in the movie…it wasn’t a hot look for her.
And Meryl! MERYL! She’s amazing. Stunning. Freaking fabulous. Love her!
It’s raining Amy Adams images lately, I swear!
Earlier today in London (the time change thing always messes me up), Amy Adams, Meryl Streep and John Patrick Shanley attended a photocall for their new movie, Doubt. I love that Meryl is rocking the Sarah Palin glasses, too.
You know who I love? Amy Adams. I like her so much, I even watched Enchanted, and I really don’t like G-Rated, feel-good movies. Sure, she kind of looks like Borat’s wife…but being compared to Isla Fisher isn’t exactly a bad thing. Both Amy and Isla need to be cast in more movies. There aren’t enough redheads onscreen any more, and Julianne Moore is getting kind of old to be a lead character.
Anyway, Amy and a bunch of other Hollywood types were in NYC last night for the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures Awards Gala at Cipriani. Usually at one of these things, somebody shows up looking like an absolute trainwreck. Not last night, though! Everyone brought their A-Game, and I don’t have a bad thing to say about any of the outfits, hairdos or anything. Even the dates that the stars brought were appropriate!
Teri Hatcher, Carrie Underwood, Patrick Dempsey, Amy Adams and America Ferrara were among the attendees of the world premiere of Disney’s Enchanted last night at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood.
The film is a classic Disney fairytale that collides with modern-day New York City in a story about a fairytale princess (Amy Adams) from the past who is thrust into present-day by an evil queen (Susan Sarandon). Soon after her arrival, Princess Giselle begins to change her views on life and love after meeting a handsome lawyer (Patrick Dempsey).
Enchanted is in US theaters on November 21, 2007.
