The glitz and glamour could be found in every corner of the red carpet area as celebrities arrived for this year’s Oscars ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood tonight. The stars were out and shining bright as they arrived for one of the most anticipated Academy Awards ever.
Angelina Jolie looked as elegant as ever in an Elle Saab gown as she arrived with Brad Pitt. Nominee Sandra Bullock looked gorgeous in a navy Alexander McQueen gown. Olivia Wilde and Elsa Pataky showed off their baby bumps in beautifully designed gowns as they arrived with Chris Hemsworth and Jason Sudeikis, respectively. Other celebrities showing their glamour on the red carpet included Amy Adams, Kristen Bell, Jessica Biel, Cate Blanchett, Bono, Kristin Chenoweth, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Kate Hudson, Jared Leto, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, Meryl Streep, Channing Tatum with Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Kerry Washington and Naomi Watts.
Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman & her Country singing husband Keith Urban along with other celebrities made an appearance at the 2013 G’Day USA Black Tie Gala which was held at the JW Marriot at LA Live! in Los Angeles.
Nicole looked gorgeous in a tan lace A-line dress with tan high heels and her red hair pinned up in curls while Keith wore a black suit with red plaid shirt and a black tie.
2013 Oscar nominee for Best Actor, Hugh Jackman looked dashing & handsome as ever in a black tuxedo.
The stars came out last night for the 2013 People’s Choice Awards at the Nokia Theatre in LA. The red carpet was a colorful place as a number of bright colored dresses joined some more conservative ones as well as a number of interesting patterns. Lea Michele stood out in bright pink and Chloe-Grace Moretz wore lime green lace. Paris Hilton and Rumer Willis opted to stand out with patterned dresses, Hilton wearing an intricate green dress and Willis wearing a silver and black diagonally striped sequined gown. Those who chose more conservative outfits included Taylor Swift, Heidi Klum, Naomi Watts, Julianne Hough, and The Wanted.
Superstar actor Leonardo DiCaprio and the cast of Clint Eastwood’s new film J. Edgar came together to celebrate the world premiere of the film at the AFI Fest 2011 Opening Night Gala in Los Angeles at Grauman’s Chinese Theater.
DiCaprio sported a dapper black suit with a white dress shirt and silver tie, keeping the overall look sharp with a touch of old world Hollywood.
His costars Naomi Watts & Hilary Swank also channeled the glitz and glamour of classic Hollywood style. Watts wore an elegant silver evening gown that highlighted both her coloring and post-babies figure.
Swank on the other hand kept things simple with pretty beachy waves and a form fitting white evening gown that fused the easy going California girl look with upscale Hollywood style.
The AFI Fest Premiere kicks off the beginning of their very busy promotional tour for J. Edgar.
Naomi Watts arrived at LAX before a scheduled appearance at ELLE Magazine’s Women in Hollywood event recognizing women in the media who have ‘had a profound impact on the industry.’
Despite having been on a flight Watts looked calm, chic and effortlessly put together in a grey jacket, flesh toned shirt, skinny jeans and aviators.
She smiled and greeted photographers warmly amidst alleged rumors that her longtime boyfriend Liev Schreiber had cheated on her with Australian bikini model Phoebe Roberts.
Schreiber has yet to comment on said allegations but his people released a statement saying the rumors are a “complete fabrication.”
Roberts, the suspected other woman released a statement of her own refuting the alleged affair, “I did not and am not having a sexual relationship with Liev Schreiber.”
Watts and Schreiber have been together for six years and have two children together, which in Hollywood is a lifetime.
Indie spirit was alive and well yesterday as stars modestly arrived in the parking lot at Santa Monica Beach for the 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards.
Big winners of the evening included Best Female Lead Natalie Portman for her work in “Black Swan”, Best Male Lead James Franco for “127 Hours”, Best Feature went to “Black Swan” and Best First Feature went to the understated Robert Duvall, Bill Murray and Sissy Spacek drama “Get Low”.
Among the stars who made their way past the waiting crowd of fans were winner James Franco, “Rabbit Hole” producer and actress Nicole Kidman, “The Kids are All Right” stars Mark Ruffalo and Annette Bening, all of which are nominated for awards at tonight’s Oscars!
No, that’s not your horoscope… it’s the name of the new movie with Naomi Watts and Josh Brolin and directed by Woody Allen.
Naomi and Josh along with Lucy Punch, Gemma Jones held a press call at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival followed by a red carpet premiere.
The film is a dark romantic comedy, written and directed by Woody Allen, and it tells the story of three dysfunctional couples living and working in London.
The question is, which of Naomi’s looks do you like most……….daytime flirty dress or sleek gown? I can’t decide.
Naomi Watts is in Park City, Utah for the Sundance Film Festival, and yesterday somebody put on quite a show for her. A biker decided to show off by flipping over his handlebars as she was walking down the steps of Main Street, and I think the look on her face about says it all.
In other news, LOVE her sweater. I like seeing celebs in their winter gear — it’s always so warm in LA, we never get to see them in snow clothes!
Mother and Child made its grand debut at the Toronto International Film Festival yesterday, and Naomi Watts brought her D-game to the event. What the hell is she wearing? That looks like something Rue McClannahan would wear on an episode of Golden Girls! It looks like she paired her boyfriend’s XXL sweater with riding pants that she stole from a fat midget. Why are they so baggy and short?
Somehow she manages to still look decent, which is a huge testament to how gorgeous Naomi is. She could’ve come to the event wearing trash bags and duct tape and she’d still be prettier than half of the Hollywood hags that usually go to those shindigs.
Australian actress Naomi Watts and husband Liev Schriber take a family bicycle ride through their neighborhood on Saturday afternoon. Watts looked in great shape just one month after giving birth to their second son Samuel Kai Schreiber in December.
In a recent interview said she is suffering from what she is calling “a lactose lobotomy” while breast-feeding her new infant son. “I knew that everyone goes through a monumental sleep deprivation,” Watts said about motherhood during interviews for her new movie The International, “but you can never prepare for that. It’s brutal. “The biggest surprise is that I cannot remember anything. I call it a lactose lobotomy. I literally have lost half my brain. I don’t know when it’s coming back. Actually, it was halved and halved again.” With two young sons, the 40 year old Watts said that she is struggling to manage her career and the demands of family. “I’m still trying to figure it out. This film, The International, is the only film I’ve done since I’ve become a mom. So I think it’s going to be an endless struggle. Your family is something that you always have to put first.
Clive Owen stars opposite her in their latest movie The International.
You know who I love? Amy Adams. I like her so much, I even watched Enchanted, and I really don’t like G-Rated, feel-good movies. Sure, she kind of looks like Borat’s wife…but being compared to Isla Fisher isn’t exactly a bad thing. Both Amy and Isla need to be cast in more movies. There aren’t enough redheads onscreen any more, and Julianne Moore is getting kind of old to be a lead character.
Anyway, Amy and a bunch of other Hollywood types were in NYC last night for the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures Awards Gala at Cipriani. Usually at one of these things, somebody shows up looking like an absolute trainwreck. Not last night, though! Everyone brought their A-Game, and I don’t have a bad thing to say about any of the outfits, hairdos or anything. Even the dates that the stars brought were appropriate!
Speaking of babies, Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts had their kid yesterday! Their publicist confirmed that it was a boy, but no other details were officially released. The couple have been together since 2005, and they already have one son, named Alexander Pete Schreiber.
Congrats to them both!
Liev Schreiber has reportedly knocked up Naomi Watts again. Their first kid, Alexander “Sasha” Pete, isn’t even a year old yet! Here’s where homeboy went wrong: when you’re as hot as Liev is, you don’t need to go messing things up by having a whole litter of babies. Hotness like that doesn’t stick around for too long and he should enjoy it while he can!
I guess as far as long-term partners go, he made a decent choice with Naomi. I don’t really have too many snarky things to say about her at all. In fact, she’s actually a very good actress.
Congratulations and best of luck to the whole family.
Naomi Watts, Liev Schreiber and newborn son Alexander Pete took a morning stroll to get some breakfast yesterday. Naomi and Liev held hands as he cradled Alexander in a sling, still walking on a tender, bandaged foot.
The couple, Liev in particular, seemed a bit more reserved on this outing. Last weekend, they became involved in a scuffle with paparazzi in Malibu, Liev reportedly losing his temper and pushing one photographer away.
Reports say the limping Schreiber was carrying the couple’s newborn son into the Greek restaurant Taverna Tony’s when he placed the baby carrier down and one photographer got too close. Schreiber turned around and confronted the photographer, shouting “You [bleep] disgust me. It’s a [bleep] child and I have one [bleep] foot.” The actor then chased away several other photographers before entering the restaurant for lunch. When the couple emerged after their meal, they were again surrounded by paparazzi. This time Watts protested “Are you out of your mind?” as she tried to make way for Liev to place their baby in a waiting car. One photographer then taunted Schreiber saying, “You better sit down before I knock your ass out.”
Sounds to me like he had every right to be disgusted.
