Ellen DeGeneres was presented with her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame during a special ceremony in Hollywood. In her typical style, Ellen hammed it up for the cameras during the presentation and was surrounded by family and friends including her wife Portia de Rossi and mother Betty DeGeneres along with Ryan Seacrest and Jimmy Kimmel.
Newly single starlet, Taylor Swift, was in beautiful company last night at the 50th Anniversary party for Cover Girl at BOA in Los Angeles.
On the carpet for the popular cosmetics company celebration were Drew Barrymore, Kendra Wilkinson, Niki Taylor, Rachel Hunter, Ellen Degeneres and Portia DeRossi….to name just a few!
The pretty famous faces of many of the Cover Girl campaigns were all smiles last night and Ellen, Portia and Taylor posed for some group photos….but I had no idea that Taylor was so tall!
Not that she needs to give up the day job but she could always opt for supermodel if she fancies a change of profession.
Just seconds after Ellen Degeneres heard the news that a federal judge had overturned California’s ban on same-sex marriages, the popular comic tv personality took to her twitter to celebrate saying “This just in: Equality Won!”. Ellen is seen here with her wife Portia De Rossi whom she married in 2008.
Ellen isn’t the only one rejoicing the news, lots of celebs have taken to their twitters including Paris Hilton who said “What a huge historical day for equal rights in this country! They finally overturned Prop 8! There shouldn’t be a law on true love. :)”
Ricky Martin who recently publicly announced his sexual orientation said “”YEAHHHHH!!!!! #prop8unconstitutional Moving Forward!!!!!!!!”
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRossi got married yesterday, and only 20 people or so were invited! I was hoping for a big gay extravaganza, so I’m kind of bummed they went the low key route. A source told US Weekly:
“Ellen and Portia came out and posed for pictures with Ellen’s mom and their two dogs. They were hugging and kissing, and looked ecstatic. Ellen was helping Portia with the train of her dress, which looked like a Cinderella tutu.”
No pictures have come out yet, so I feel kind of robbed. I want to see Ellen in her wedding tux! Regardless, congrats to the happy couple and all of the other gays and lesbians who have gotten married in California since it became legal.
